The idea and goal of the establishment of the new capital:

The new administrative capital is the largest national project announced by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly at the Conference on Supporting and Developing the Egyptian Economy on March 13, 2015.

The importance of establishing the administrative capital:

It is not limited to the establishment of a new city to transfer all governmental, presidential and administrative institutions, embassies, parliament and the most important state institutions, but the goal is also to establish a new capital for a modern, administrative, economic Egypt that conforms to the changes of the times. And interconnected so that all the services of paying water, electricity and gas bills are connected to the Internet, as well as security services, lighting poles and garden irrigation to be controlled remotely.

 

Investment and job creation:

The Administrative Capital is currently the largest investment opportunity and the most attractive new city for investment and investors in Egypt and abroad due to the huge size of its projects, which provides more than two million job opportunities.

 

Area and division of neighborhoods :

It is the most important fourth-generation city in Egypt, linking Cairo and Suez. The total area of ​​the new administrative capital is 170,000 acres, divided into:

 

Residential Density:

The first phase of it is expected to accommodate 6.5 million citizens, and the population of the administrative capital will then grow to 18 million by 2030 and then to 40 million by 2050.

An eco-friendly city:

Egypt decided that the administrative capital would be a city in which all environmentally friendly procedures are available, and large green areas are spread in it, whether inside or outside it through a green belt that represents 10% of the total area. .

Energy sources and infrastructure for the administrative capital:

The city is working to increase the use of solar energy in power stations in the infrastructure and public utilities, where the new administrative capital is unique with a strong infrastructure and an integrated tunnel network in order to carry out periodic maintenance on the infrastructure of the capital on an ongoing basis so as not to be damaged over time and in the event of a technical malfunction there Alarms work immediately to address any malfunction as quickly as possible, and this is similar to many smart cities around the world, such as the Austrian capital Vienna, which has the largest biomass plant in the world.

Central park:

One of the most prominent features of the capital is that it contains a giant central park Capital Park Which reaches an area of ​​1,000 acres with a length of 10 km, which is equivalent to twice the size of the most famous garden in the world Central Park State of New York.

green river:

The Administrative Capital contains the largest green axis in the world (Green River), which reaches a length of 35 km that connects and passes throughout the Administrative Capital to simulate the Nile River in the capital, Cairo. The project contains recreational and central parks on an area of ​​5,000 acres.

Security and guarding, distribution of the administrative capital:

 The administrative capital includes the first control and security center and public safety services through 6000 cameras distributed throughout. The capital will also contain:
(conference center – medical city – sports city – exhibition city – city of arts and culture) on an area of ​​127 acres.

Transportation and transportation in the administrative capital:

The new republic will also be linked to all governorates in Egypt through a network of railways, and the most important and prominent transportation projects in Egypt recently are the electric train and the monorail.
